Over the last year, the WHO? programme has been working with young people in Bermondsey in South London. Working with a group of lads all known to the local Youth Offending Team, the WHO? Project has been able to make significant changes in the way they think and behave.
To mark the completion of the first programme in the area, a WHO? Celebration is planned for Friday 25th May 2007, at Millwall Football club in The Den from 6pm until 8pm.

The WHO? programme
Marginalised working class white youth need to know WHO they are and how they fit in.
Understanding their identity is key, as is learning more about themselves and the people around them.
Where others may ignore or fear them, In-volve seeks to engage them on their terms. That’s what the WHO? Programme is about.
The young people recruited onto the programme get the chance to develop a positive identity about WHO they are, and learn the skills to deal with their thoughts and feelings.
Activities include the physical (boxing, fitness training), mental (teaching emotional intelligence principles), and social skills (coaching, and team activities).
