Hillingdon Youth Awareness Programme (HYAP) is a Tier 2 Young Persons Service offering a range of services. These include:
• The Complete Drugs Course (accredited to the Open College Network),
• Audio/X Music Production Programme with accreditation optional
• 1-1 intensive Connexions Personal Advisor giving advice and guidance.
• Change Management Programme
• 1-1 Life Coaching
• I.D and Diversity Programme specific to employment and education.
HYAP also provides opportunities for young people who have completed any programme to come back and be involved in the delivery and design of that programme. These opportunities give each young person an opportunity to gain credible and invaluable work experience and then on completion gain references from the service manager to reflect their input.
At HYAP we are 100% dedicated to enabling each young person to reach their full potential and (take out don’t) hold the view that a young person is not what they may have done in the past but what they can achieve in the future.
At HYAP we believe that a young person deserves access to the best information, resources and training possible and HYAP aims to empower and enable each young person to make informed decisions that are the right decisions for themselves and their community.
