Hours of work:  Sessional hours to be arranged each week.
• Contact Time to be arranged, primarily weekday evenings
  3.30pm - 6.00pm, 6.00pm - 9.00 pm
• Hours may adjust to include some daytime work

Based at: Across the Projects in Abbey Wood, Thamesmead, Belvedere, Erith and Northumberland Heath

Projects: Junior 8-13 yr and Senior 13-19 yr Youth Inclusion Projects (YIPs) and/or Arts and Diversity Project 13-19 yr (AAD)

Qualification: Evidenced relevant skills/experience/qualification

Job Aim
The Youth Inclusion Projects seek to reduce offending, truancy and exclusion. The projects do this by providing targeted assistance and supporting young people and to create engaging and empowering relationships with young people and their families.

The Arts and Diversity Project delivers arts-based workshops primarily around music and visual arts with themes of gang culture, alcohol and drugs and other relevant issues.

We aim to provide a fun and safe environment for Young People, a place where they can enjoy themselves, make friends and stay out of any potential temptation to get involved with crime, promoting the importance of education and fostering a positive view of school and of self, helping them to deal with any transitional stages in their lives.

At all times the post holder will seek to provide an excellent and safe place for young people, under the direction of the Team Leader, and to adhere to the contracted specifications and company policies and procedures.

Job Summary
To work with the Team Leader under the direction of the Assistant Manager, to provide a safe, fun and attractive programme for young people, including trips out.
