People often ask: ‘What exactly does In-volve do?’ The simple answer is: ‘Change Lives’.
We do this by providing drug services for young people that educate and
train them, as well as providing treatment for those that need it.
We also provide services for adult substance users using a harm
reduction approach that focuses on them as people rather than as ‘clients’ or ‘patients’.
We provide training through our FIX training service for professionals, young people, and individuals using the principle of ‘learning by doing’.
We deliver Identity and Difference (ID) Applied
interventions for specific groups of young people helping them to
understand how they make sense of themselves and those around them, and
how they can change themselves if they want to.
We keep learning, keep trying new things, keep up to speed with changes
in culture, attitudes, technology and the environment, but most of all,
we keep changing because change is good.
