The programme broadcast on Channel 4 features the actor and rapper J Rock of Big Bruvvas fame who has been smoking weed for 14 years and is desperate to give up. The one-hour observational documentary called GIVING UP THE WEED charts J Rock's struggle to give up one of the constants in his life and witnesses how he copes.
Giving up the Weed is a frank and honest account of J Rock's daily fight to leave weed out of his day and out of his life. This is J Rock's second serious attempt to quit and he knows that his only hope of success is by banishing the herb from his personal space and re-organizing his social life to reflect his hoped for future weed free existence.
This time he knows he needs help and support. As a result J Rock turned to In-volve who provided him with 1-2-1 specialist coaching sessions on how to overcome his reliance on cannabis.
