RAW Breakthrough Programmes

In-volve’s charitable objective is for young people to have the resources and capacity to develop a positive sense of who they are and what they want to achieve in life. RAW/Little Miss Raw Breakthrough is a 2-stage intensive programme that provides a route back to social inclusion and achievement for young offenders caught up in violence and streetgang lifestyles. We engage credibly with many young people other agencies find hard to help, and as knowledge about this vulnerable group increases there is a recognition of the need for programmes that can combine skills for emotional health and wellbeing with practical pathways into positive activities.
 
Stage 1 (Inclusion and Identity) provides outreach, engagement, provision of a safe space, group activities and workshops, and personal goal setting.

Stage 2 (Leadership and Skills) provides additional coaching and positive psychology interventions, accredited training for NCFE qualifications and opportunities for work experience and volunteering.

RAW programmes provide non-intrusive need and risk assessment for each participant, plus individual support for emotional distress, onward referral or safeguarding processes if required at any stage.
