Birmingham CAMHS provides HIAH with a full time mental health nurse and a child and adolescent psychiatrist.  They can provide assessment, support and onward referral to young people who experience both mental health and substance misuse issues. They assess issues such as low mood/depression, anxiety, psychosis, ADHD, Autistic Spectrum Disorders and Eating Disorders. Young people may be referred to CAMHS or Adult Mental Health Services, or if appropriate, offered brief mental health interventions at HIAH.
