HIAH Referral Process
In-volve HIAH can take referrals from concerned professionals, parents/carers other family members, friends and of course self referrals from the young people themselves. It is a requirement that the young person has consented to their referral and explained to them before it is made. HIAH staff are available for discussion for advice and support if potential referrers or clients have any questions. HIAH can work with any young person up until their 19th birthday with any issues relating to the use of illegal and/or legal drugs including Alcohol.
We receive referrals from many different agencies such as Birmingham Youth Offending Service, Connexions, Social Care and Health, schools, and other drug services.
Referrals can be brought into us, faxed, e-mailed or phoned in. Details are shown below.
You can download the referral form on this page or request hard copies from the HIAH office.
